Guests

If you see people walking around Irish Fest all decked out in the garb of another festival...The Dublin Irish Festival, say or Milwaukee, or The Great American Irish Fest in upstate New York, they're not lost. They're some of our VIP guests from our sister events across the country come to spend the weekend with us and see how all the ideas we've stolen from them have taken root here in Cowtown.

Kansas City will be hosting the next conference of Irish Festival directors and promoters this coming April and I think these early explorers are also here to scope out the best Irish pubs for when they come back. At least I'm pretty sure one of them is, but I won't mention his name...Kevin.

So if you see these emissaries from afar, be sure to say hello and welcome them to K.C.

Dan- I'm sure you'll show all those "visitors" a good time. Wish I could be one of them. I'll have to wait until April. As for the "Kevin" comment....KCIF will never be the same once he's been there. Have a blast!
