Contestosterone

As I told you, the race yesterday served a dual purpose for the Irish Festers who took part in it. One was of course raising money for a good cause. The other was training for a long Irish Fest weekend that will some of us walking miles and miles and miles as we oversee our expanded grounds. I'm telling you, it's tough, especially for those of us in our golden years. We're open for thirty hours and we're moving for most of that. Throw in long days of set up and tear down on Thursday, Friday and Monday and you're talking some serious real estate traversed.

Just how many miles will we walk from Thursday morning when we start setting up until Monday when we finally head home? You tell me. I'm going to wear a pedometer this Irish Fest weekend and if you come closest to guessing how many miles Ol' Uncle Bloggy covers during the Thursday to Monday time period, you'll win a prize package so fabulous that I haven't even decided what it is yet. But fabulous, I promise.

Send your guess to me at danny@kcirishfest.com between now and 8:00 AM, August 28th which is when the work and the walking will begin. And good luck. To me, I mean. You've got the easy part.
