The 6th Kansas City Irish Fest opens in 51 days. Which makes me hungry.

If you're lucky enough to ever get up to the sponsor hospitality area at Irish Fest (formerly known as the VIP area), you've dined on complimentary pizza from the great pizza place just down the street where where I sit here at Bloggy Manor. Pizza 51.

Jason and Shannon Pryor, the owners of Pizza 51 are two of those behind-the-scenes people who make Irish Fest hum. They keep that great pizza coming, working and delivering in overdrive on overtime all weekend. That keeps sponsors happy. That keeps them coming back as sponsors. That makes all of us happy.

You don't have to be a sponsor and you don't have to wait until Irish Fest weekend to enjoy a slice of K.C.'s best pizza. Pizza 51 is open today in the old gas station at 51st and Oak. The slices are huge. The beer's cold. You can sit outside. What else could you ask for?
