Ward Archive Exhibit

Again in 2008, our friends from the Ward Irish Music Archive in Milwaukee will be bringing a fascinating exhibit south to the Kansas City Irish Fest. Last year you'll remember it was an incredibly comprehensive history of Irish rock music. This year, something for fans of the other side of the Irish music spectrum as the Archive presents The History of Irish Traditional Music. The exhibit will be located as usual inside the Crown Center atrium just north of the Atrium Stage, and as usual I have no doubt it will be a great addition to Irish Fest.

The Ward Irish Music Archive in Milwaukee is well worth the trip to that great city. It's the home of the largest public collection of Irish music in America and contains more than 40,000 pieces of musical memorabilia. We're very lucky to have them returning to KCIF.
