The Social Ramble
The Bloomsday celebration at Raglan Road was a great success last night. Irish Fest directors Rory O'Connor and Erin Kiekbusch were there along with former director Pat O'Neill and gate committee co-chair Kevin Bundy. Pete Maher of the Midwest Irish Focus was snapping away with his camera and long-time friend, sponsor and Irish Fest Volunteer John O'Neal and his family made the trip downtown. Kansas City Feis organizer Gordie Grohmann was there intently checking out the latest in Edwardian fashion. And of course Bloomsday Books owner and Irish Fest grant advisory board member Tom Shawver and his lovely wife Nancy, who organized the event. And a Joyce-ful time was had by all.

Is Gordie on the prowl again? LOCK UP YOUR WIVES AND DAUGHTERS!
I consider that a compliment.
