As an Irish Fest Committee member, I just want to thank Dave Shaughnessy for another fabulous music lineup. Dave manages three stages and is always willing to help those of us with even more stages. Each year he consistently produces a great lineup with a variety of musical talent that makes it fun to be at Irish Fest every single day of the Fest, and at times makes those of us in the Children's area break out into song or dance. Special thanks from Shawn, the KCIFKC, and our terrific volunteers.Agreed and seconded. Though Dave would be the first to share credit with Boulevard Stage managers Marcia and Mindy Johnson and Atrium Stage manager Tenley Hansen, he and the entire entertainment committee deserve a big round of applause.

I once asked him for a ride and he told me no.
When we were kids, Dave told me I'd do big things in my life. I haven't accomplished anything. Dave doesn't know s*#t!
He gave me one of Crisco's drum sticks from KCIF 06. A broken one. Hah, some guy.
Now that I think about it, I once saw Shaughnessy kick a puppy. A cute little defenseless puppy. Or maybe he didn't kick it exactly, but he walked by it and didn't pet it. A puppy!
Hell, he's a great guy. I saw him kick the crap out of Scanlan. God knows he deserved it.
I saw him shoot a man in Reno just to watch him die.

I see proof of the love/hate relationship several people have with Dave. Evidence of a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde thing going on here perhaps?
I think he smells funny.
Lord knows Father Brian tried to straighten him out...there's no hope for the lad.
