I noticed in the paper this morning that today is Worldwide Knitting In Public Day. Which is great, because we have a knitting contest at Irish Fest and while I know about as much about knitting as I do about bulldozer repair, I'm pretty sure that knitting takes awhile. So since you've only got 76 days until Irish Fest, I'm guessing you might want to start today.
You know what you could do? Mix up some scones and throw them in the oven. While they're baking, commence to knitting. While you're knitting, set up the Nikon on its timer and snap a picture of yourself. Then when you're done, write an essay about the whole experience. Enter all those things, sweep the baking, knitting, photography and writing contests. How cool would that be? About 11, that's how cool.
