Kids' Newz

See how I spelled "News" with a z at the end? That how the kids, or "kidz", rather, are doing it these days. Kids are "down" with the "slang" and "lingo" and "poor grammar and spelling". At least some kids are. Not so the quality young people who make up the Irish Fest Kids Club. Shawn, the grown-up in charge, sends this news:
"Congratulations to Kid's Club Member Kylie Wingate who is graduating from Olathe East High School, and has won a scholarship to the University of Kansas. Kylie who has volunteered at Irish Fest since 2003, and will continue to do so; will study Medicine at KU. She has battled Juvenile Diabetes for most of her young life and has a mission to find a cure. The Irish Fest Staff and the KCIFKC wish Kylie the very best."
