Jiggling. Also Jamming.

There's a brand new festival opening at Crown Center in a little less than two weeks, and it's got some heavy Irish Fest bloodlines. It's called Jiggle Jam Family Fest. Its head honcho (I suppose that should be honcha) is Irish Fest Executive Director Keli O'Neill Wenzel. All the Jiggle Jam printing is being handled by Irish Fest president Ed Scanlon's company Boelte Hall Litho. Irish Fest director Barney Walsh and Irish Fest children's area coordinator Shawn Sullivan Warner serve on the Jiggle Jam board of directors. We even share an on stage performer, Jim "Mr. Stinky Feet" Cosgrove. All the Jiggle Jam graphics, including the creation of the little alien mascot J.J. over there were done by me. And, to the surprise of probably nobody, the one adult beverage station (hey, "family" includes Dad, right?) is being staffed largely by Irish Festers. It's not an accident that J.J. is green.

Jiggle Jam takes place over Memorial Day weekend and is going to be a lot of fun, even for you big kids. The great They Might Be Giants headlines. Come see us. You can learn more about it right here.

I'll be seeing They Might Be Giants the night before at the Beaumont Club. Too many kids at the JJ Fest for me. I've never seen TMBG before so I'm excited.
