Help?

I had this e-mail waiting for me when I woke up this morning. I'm at a loss, so I turn to you, erudite readers, for help in tracking this poem down. Anybody?

"My sister is here from Scotland and we have been reminiscing and try so hard to remember a poem our Dad used to recite. We think it was "The Irishman's Love for His Children" All we can remember was that at the end of each verse it would say "And then there was Mary" It was so lovely and always made us cry. My sister is 86 and I am 76 and we would dearly love to find the words to this. I have tried on the internet with no luck. Can you help?" Jean McDougall and Molly McGarrity, Taupo North Island New Zealand"

Please let me know if you have info on the poem they're searching for.
