If you live here in Cowtown and want to bid bon voyage to M&M and maybe coax a song or two out of Máirtín and perhaps Mitra, you may want to stop by Mike Kelly's Westsider this coming Friday and Catch Eddie Delahunt's show. As if Friday with Eddie, Gabe and a cold Pale Ale weren't reason enough, the M's will be along as well. And the craic will be mighty.

Bitter Medicine
Mrs. Bloggy and I had a lovely dinner last night with Irish Fest legend Máirtín de Cógáin and his brilliant and beautiful fiancé, Almost-Dr. Mitra Tabidian (she graduates med school this weekend). With Mitra's elevation to doctorhood sadly comes relocation for residency, which means that all of us in Kansas City will be seeing a lot less of her and himself, which...oh, what's the word I'm searching for?...sucks.

Mairtin tells me that Rochester is six hours from Kansas City. Kansas City is six hours from Little Rock, so I feel your pain, Dan. Tell you what...get Eddie or MVFS to book Mairtin in from time to time, and we'll all meet there in the middle! Email just isn't the same....
