Absolutely BRILLIANT job with the float, folks! Sorry about the weather. Wasn't much better down here in Little Rock. Oh well.
I remember those desks, and that blackboard and the alphabet above it and always the crucifix right there.
It wasn't until my college years that I found out the cross symbol wasn't actually the 27 letter of the alphabet.
And yes... I remember the stick.
No recollection of the cigars but I think the sisters had a private lounge somewhere for that.
