New Mulholland

Sorry I'm late, kids. Stupid real job(s).

But hey! Guess who I heard from today? Miranda Mulholland, who you may remember from the great Glengarry Bhoys and thier shows at Irish Fest last year. She was the one who wasn't a bhoy, playing the fiddle. Miranda did me a huge favor today that I'll tell you about later, so I wanted to make sure you knew about all the cool stuff she's been up to, so you can buy her CDs and go see her shows and whatnot.

For those of you in Europe, Miranda will be touring this spring with The Paperboys over in your neck of the woods. She's also doing some playing with Bowfire and The Town Pants and her new band Mulholland Drive. Most excitingly...is that even a word?...her other other project The Roaring Girl Cabaret was recently awarded a grant from the Canada Council For The Arts which will alllow a CD, being mastered right now and some more touring opportunities.

Congratulations to a once and hopefully future K.C. Irish Fester on lots of well deserved good news. And thanks again, Miranda.
