HA! Snuck up on you didn't I? When I make a band announcement without announcing that I'm making a band announcement, that's a sort of double secret band announcement, isn't it? I'm like a super-ninja band announcer. Just keeping you on your toes.
When my fellow Irish Fest bigwigs and myself went up to North Canadia last fall to the Irish Fest directors conference that was held in conjunction with the Celtic Colours Festival, we saw a band play in a pub one night that blew us all away. They called themselves Pogey. We call them today's band announcement.
Pogey? you say. North Canadia? you say. Listen, I say. You can find more clips here. You'll love these guys.

hmmmmmm
hmmmmmmm? What does that mean?
I think that was the same reation when Enter the Haggis was first booked in 2005.
Too late to cancel? What about Trinity?
Why in the world would we want to cancel and miss a chance to bring a great band to town for the first time? And what about Trinity?
Trinity? Never heard of them. Are they local? Where do they perform?
They sound like a good group. And fun one. I just wish the recording had a better balance in the sound.
Trinity will be performing at the Irish Museum 3/8
Trinity played KCIF a few years back. Can't remember which one, though.
Bring the Saw Doctors back again!
