Here you go, kids. One more for a record-breaking fourth announcement in seven days. Don't ask me for another.
This one is sort of a return to Kansas City, sort of not.
Joining us at the 2008 Kansas City Irish Fest is Scottish singer/songwriter Jim Malcolm. You may know and indeed have seen Jim in his other his other job, that of lead singer for the legendary Old Blind Dogs, who played KCIF in 2005. Here's a sample of what you have to look forward to when one of Scotland's most celebrated singers, and a personal favorite of mine, takes the stage in right around 224 days. Can't wait.

KICK ASS!!! That's feckin' brilliant!!
I was going to say something along the lines of "awesome!" but that first comment is way gooder. OBD gave my husband a cd at KCIF '05 when he drove them back to the Hyatt in a gator after their show...that cd is still in regular rotation in the ol' grocery-getter.

One of the most talented human beings walking around on this, or any other planet. Caught his solo show a few weeks ago here in Little Rock, Arkansas and, well, it was just feckin' brilliant. Fair play!
[insert girly squeal here] 224 days you say? I can't wait! Well, I CAN wait, I guess, if one were speaking literally.
