Vote Twice

If you, like me, are lucky enough to call Kansas City, Missouri home, or if your particular home base also has elections today, don't forget to do your civic duty and vote.

And speaking of voting, with the entry deadline for our on-line virtual costume contest now passed, I gotta tell you...I am soooo disappointed in you people. The participation level was dismal to put it mildly. I try to do something nice for you kids, I try to keep you busy between Irish Fests, and do you care? No, you don't.
I swear, you people don't deserve me. Now, I was going to judge the contest my own self, what with me being a genuine professional Bachelor Of Fine Arts and all. But since fully half the entries received are members of my own family, that plan now seems fraught with possible ethical issues. So here's what we'll do. Since you slackers apparently can't be bothered to enter the damn contest, I wonder if you'd do me the great service of judging it? I'll post the photos, identified with numbers, you vote. The winners of the adult division wins a big warm, fluffy Kansas City Irish Fest hoodie with a crisp new dollar bill in the pocket. The winner of the kids division wins a stylish Kansas City Irish Fest cap and t-shirt. With, yes, a real dollar bill, good in all 50 states and many U.S. territories pinned to it. Bet you wished you'd have entered now, don't you, lazy?

The pictures are posted below. Though admittedly I have no way of enforcing this, only vote once, okay? Because I know how you are. Entering the contest? Way too much effort. Flooding my mailbox with 200 votes in 20 minutes? No trouble at all.

This is your one chance to get back in my good graces. Start voting. Slackers.
