Imagine not being able to hear Bob Reeder.
Or Eddie Delahunt. Or any of the great Irish music we're blessed with in Kansas City.
Wouldn't you want somebody to help you? Sure you would. So make plans to attend the Harp and Shamrock (Bob Reeder Fan Club) 7th Annual Celtic Music Benefit to benefit the Hearing Aid Fund at Children’s Mercy Hospital. This is an inarguably good cause.
The aforementioned gents will be there, along with Brett Gibson, Gabriel Reyes, The Kelihans, John Morris, Juliet Moore, Kathy Murphy, and the Ararat Pipe & Drum Band. The extravaganza starts Saturday at 5:00 PM up North at Kyle's Tap Room, 6825 N. Oak Trafficway in Gladstone. A mere $10 gets you all that music, plus door prizes and an auction. And it helps those kids in Children's Mercy, and who doesn't want to be part of that karmic goodness?
If I had a fan club, I wonder what their charitable cause would be? I'd vote for something like The E. 53rd Street Home For Wayward Beers.
I'm accepting donations now.
