Today is a great day to say thank you to all involved with the Kansas City Irish Fest. The very hard working board of directors who meet year round and are constantly thinking of ways to improve the festival. A very big thank you to Patti Aylward Kalb one of our founders who is leaving the board in January. Patti's great sense of humor will truly be missed. The festival Committee deserves a very big thank you for their creativity in running their areas, keeping in budget and smiling morning till night while the festival is open. How about the volunteers? Nearly one thousand in numbers pouring beers, taking tickets recycling tons of plastic and all the the other functions that kept the festival alive. It is Thanksgiving and saying thank you to all involved with putting on the festival seems less than what is deserved, but thank you all.
Not only our team is responsible for making the KCIF the best festival in the nation, but the outstanding talent that performs on our stages. We could sell tickets put up tents and have Boulevard Beer ready, but without the music all would fizzle to something as flat as a cup of yesterday's beer.
And now a word from our sponsors. Or how about a big thank you to our sponsors who without their help we would not exist.
Thank you everyone for all your help, because we are becoming "The Best Irish Fest in The Nation".

Ed Said #21
As we all should be this time of year, Irish Fest president Ed Scanlon is thankful. And we're thankful for our Irish Fest president. Listen up, pilgrims.
