Kansas City Irish Fest president Ed "Scary" Scanlon has a treat for you, no trick. It's the 20th edition of Ed Said and this time he's got pictures.
Kansas City Irish Fest has hung out its shingle and is open for business. Well at least the sign is hung. We have been in the festival HQ for about a year and now have our brand on the front. It is here where we decide the important questions of how many Johnny On Spots to have and other earth shaking ideas. In the months to come we will be making announcements of our plans to make the 2008 festival even better. One announcement has already been made regarding the tickets for beer rather than cash. We have studied this and have seen it at other festivals and we feel confident this is going to be an improvement. Being able to purchase the weekends worth of tickets with cash, debit or credit card will make the life of a festival visitor (our favorite people) very simple. This should reduce the wait in line for your favorite cold one. All the better to please you. It is our goal to make the Kansas City Irish Fest the best in the land.
