Doings At The Museum

Here's a couple fun and informative things for you to do while you're sitting around waiting for the next Uncle Bloggy story. The Kansas City Irish Museum and Cultural Center is offering two upcoming events, one for the kids, one for you old people.

Ireland Here and There Tracing Your Irish Ancestry
Saturday, Oct. 27, 10 am - noon
MidContinent Library genealogist and Ireland native Maria Forsha with Suzanne Vinduska take participants through the steps and resources of tracing one’s Irish tree in the U.S. and Ireland.
$5 for IMCC members and college students, $7.50 nonmembers.


Irish Music and Myths for Kids

Saturday, Nov. 10, 2 pm
Tommy Meehan shares Irish songs and stories for the whole family.
$10 per family (limit 5) or $2.50 per person over age 3.
