Canadian Morning

Here's what I've learned about Canada so far: the money is pretty. Bathrooms are called washrooms. The people are friendly. The beer is good.

We're currently in Halifax, with a long bus ride to Cape Breton ahead of us today after breakfast with the Canadian Tourism Minister and an initial conference meeting. Last night was spent at a great show called Drum which brought together the four dominant cultures of this part of the world, the Native Americans, Celtic, French and African American settlers through...well, drums. Pretty cool stuff. Then the first of our nightly music showcases, highlighted by a performance by a great young Nova Scotia band called Pogey. Think 7 Nations without the bagpipes. Tomorrow the conference business starts in earnest, or in Cape Breton, whichever comes first. Yes, we really do have business to do.

Time to eat. Be right back.

It's as if we're there with you. Can't wait to hear about the rest. Thanks for blogging.

Hmm. Drinking beer, eating breakfast & listening to music(Probably in that order). Sounds like "business" as usual for the dynamic duo of Robin & Robin Jr.
