Applause, Applause

Every year after Irish Fest, the board of directors nominates and votes on the staff members who we feel deserves special recognition for the work they did to make the Kansas City Irish Fest as successful as it is. We give awards for male and female MVP, male and female Rookie Of The Year and male and female youth awards. I'm happy to announce that the votes have been counted and this year's winners are:

...going to be announced next week, on Thursday at our first full committee meeting since the Fest ended. I wish we could give awards to everybody, because we have the best group of people who ever worked on any event anywhere. But if everybody gets an award, does anybody really get an award? Ponder that over your morning coffee.

I can tell you that this year's winners are truly deserving, every one, of all honor and praise. You'll find out who they are next week.
