Triple Threat

Musicians, singers...movie stars. You can catch our local boys The Elders being all three tonight at the Kansas International Film Festival as it kicks off tonight with a screening of "The Elders: Alive and Live in Ireland." The show is at 7:45 this evening at The Glenwood Arts Theatre at 95th and Metcalf in Overland Park. Tickets are $8 and you can get all the 411 on the festival and all its film offerings by visiting www.kansasfilm.com

Film maker Ben Meade did some shooting during the Elders performance here at Irish Fest last year. Whether that made it into the final cut, we'll see tonight.

Will they have a jumbo tron in the parking lot for those in the back? I think those fellers like them. I heard them begging the fest board to pop for something like that. Now that they are rich and famous and in the movies, maybe they will pay for it. Being stars and all.
