Congratulations to Irish-American baseball fan Matt Murphy of Queens, who caught steroid-bloated slugger Barry Bonds' record-setting home run ball in San Francisco last night. True to the hackneyed phrase "fighting Irish" Murphy emerged bloodied and torn from a pile of fellow fortune hunters with the prized horsehide, estimated to be worth a cool half mil.
When asked about Murphy's possessing the valuable souvenir, Bonds replied "AARRRARRGGGHHH!!!!!! BONDS ANGRY!!!!" and ripped the arms off a nearby bat boy.
