Inspiration, Funded

Here's what's going to happen this weekend. I know it, as sure as I'm sitting here.

You'll be at Irish Fest and you'll hear a fiddle player. Something will stir in your soul somewhere. That Gaelic blood in your veins, no matter how little there might be, will heat and then boil. You'll be inspired. You will, you must, learn how to coax that sound out a fiddle yourself. You'll make a mental note, or even an actual paper one: get a fiddle. Learn to play. Feed your Irish soul.

Or it might be the Irish language workshop that inspires you to learn the native tongue of your ancestors. Or the Feis that moves you dance. Or a heritage display that inspires you to research. It could be any number of things. But it will happen. Then, once the spark is lit, the big question: how do I start?

Click
. That's how you start. Apply for an Kansas City Irish Fest grant. We've put this grant fund in place to help you chase your Irish dream. Yeah, there are rules. There are exclusions. We're not footing the bill for your vacation to Bunclody. Not all who apply will get a grant, and not all grants will be awarded the full amount requested. But you've supported us in our efforts over the years to bring the soul of Ireland to the heart of America, and we want to return the favor.

So after the fest, with that creative spark burning bright, remember. Click. And get started on living that Irish dream.
