Free Fest?

I want to clear up another issue, while we're dashing misconceptions today.

There is no free entry to Irish Fest at any time.

The Free Friday Happy Hour of last year is not being repeated. You can get a half Price $5 Friday only ticket through our website, but no such tickets will be available at the gate. Nor will there be a free hour. I've heard from a few people who seem to think that if you arrive before 5:00 on Friday, you get in free. Wrong. We open at 5:00. Nobody is admitted before then, ticket or not. Same deal Saturday and Sunday. We open at 11:00. There's no admission at 10:59. Tickets are required at 11:00 and every hour after.

Sunday Mass. There is no charge to come to Mass at the Terrace Stage on Sunday morning. Some people like to come to Mass and not stay. If you come to Mass and plan on staying for the day, as we hope you will, you must have or buy a ticket for the day. Staying after Mass without a ticket is not only bad karma, but will also result in an additional 100,000,000 years in Purgatory. Why take the chance?

This Festival is a bargain. It's also very expensive to produce. We are a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, 99.9% volunteer run. So come on. Buy your ticket. Do the right thing. And if you really must get in free, by all means volunteer.
