Oh boy, kids! It's time for another installment of Ol' Uncle Dan's Irish Fest Story Time!
What do you mean, you have homework to do? It's summertime!
You're late for work?? You don't have a job, you're a kid! Get your childish sense of wonder in here and sit down. Good. Now look cherubic and shut your pie hole. It's story time.
Once upon a time there was a little kid, just about your age! And his or her name just happened to be the same as whatever your name is! How about that?? Well, this little kid was bored. Bored, bored, bored. It was summer. School was out, and Irish Fest was still 66 days away. The kid had nothing to do, even though his or her parents had all kind of fun suggestions, like the super-fun Clean-Your-Room-It's-A-Pig-Sty Game! Or Daddy's favorite, Will-You-Kids-Knock-It-Off-So-I-Can-Hear-The-Game game! But the kid was bored, nonetheless. Then one day, something magical happened! The child found a magical box! It had a kind of "board" with strange buttons all over it, buttons with letters and numbers and symbols! And when the child pressed the buttons, images appeared on the front of the box! A dancing cow! Dancing birds! Irish music! A crappy blog! Best of all, a whole page chock full of fun things for children to do, even though the kid had no idea what "chock full" meant. There were contests and games and the little kid was so happy. And he or she is going to have lots of fun with all this new stuff! But first it sounds like Daddy want to play a new game, called "I-Told-You-To-Leave-The-Computer-Alone-Dammit." Yay! Let's play!
The End
New games and contests on the Kansas City Irish Fest children's page now.
