Congratulations are in order today to my old pal Gordie Grohmann. Gordie, a long time Irish Fest volunteer, St. Patrick's Day parade planner and one of the founders of the Kansas City City Feis announces that he is engaged to the very lovely and charming Lisa Odum. A date for the nuptials is pending. All of us at KCIF wish the very best for the happy couple. I wonder if Gordie told Lisa that this means she has to volunteer at Irish Fest? Could be a deal breaker.
