Good morning. Today I have a special request for volunteers. Yes there are openings on nearly every crew. We need your help. So you say I cannot do heavy lifting--no problem we will not have you lifting any thing heavier than an ink pen. You cannot stand for long periods of time--fine we'll find a job sitting all day in the shade. See, it will be a lovely thing. Why not go to the volunteer area of the web site and see where you can help? We need 1000 volunteers and as President I do not want to resort to the draft. Over the years we have had some of the greatest volunteers and from all accounts they all had fun. Not to mention KC Irish Fest is one of the very few festivals that provide t-shirts to volunteers. That is correct, a free t-shirt! Join the fun, join our volunteer army. Remember Uncle Sam needs you! (Sam? Who the hell is Sam?)
