No Weak Week

You've got a busy week ahead, friend. You may want to plan on missing a few days of work. I'm sure the boss will understand.

Wednesday come down to O'Dowd's on the Plaza to celebrate 100 Days 'Til Irish Fest with us and Eddie Delahunt. We'll have some giveaways, some great music, a Boulevard or three and we'll welcome summer, Irish style.

Friday of course, is Gaelic Storm at the Grand Emporium. The boys and girl of GS make their second consecutive appearance at KCIF this year and this is their only scheduled stop in Kansas City until then. You can't miss that.

Tomorrow the results of the Visitors' Choice Awards will be announced at a lunchtime ceremony. Can those plucky Irish beat out juggernauts like the Plaza Art Fair and The American Royal in the best festival or outdoor event category? We'll find out tomorrow and I'll let you know.

You know, now that I think about it, you better take the whole week off. I'll write a note to your boss.
