Ed Said #11

Though he may be far away, you're all still in Ed Scanlon's heart. He sends the love in a special remote controlled edition of Ed Said:
Greetings from Ireland. While in Ireland I ve learned several things. Typing on a PC not a Mac is a chanlenge. These things don tpell very well. I've also learned that Shocko has done a superb job of booking bands. The Saw Doctors are booked, Different Drums of Ireland, Solas and all the usual suspects. We had the pleasure of hooking up with Jimmy Crowley at John Benny's Pub in Dingle, Thanks again Shocko he is a great addition as well. He was wearing his Free State Brewery T Shirt that he was very proud of. One other thought for the Festival and I pose this as an option to the bloggers. In Ireland on the RTE they are broadcasting Celebrity Jigs and Reels. I can see it now...Eddie and Ronan competing for the crown. I cannot be involved... I sure every one saw President W trying to break some hip hop moves. Yes, you got the picture Prez Ed would be just as pitiful. Back to do a bit of touring perhaps back here tonight to Matt Molloy's in Westport. (it is just up the block). By the way gas is about $8.00 a U.S. gallon. Enjoy the $3.00 in the US. See you soon. Maybe Danny would be interested in the Jigs and Reels. Perhaps a lesson or two from Christine.
As far as I'm concerned jigs and reels are fishing tackle. I'll leave the dancing to the curly headed young girls. By the way, if you're feeling rudderless and adrift, fear not. President Scanlon will be back on American soil at week's end
