Off Topic

This has absolutely nothing to do with Irish Fest, forgive me. But I just heard that kids who participated in the annual White House Easter egg roll today were given as a prize "a wooden egg imprinted with the president's signature."

I don't know about you, but I can't think of anything my kids would like more than a wooden egg with a facsimile autograph on it. To think I wasted all that money on candy.

And they say the Bush administration is out of touch with the American people.

That would be a very nice thing if the Prez Ed would be handing out wooden statues of Boulevard Beers with a stamp of his signature. Everyone would be standing in line for those. No one would really want a real beer when you could get a look alike made out of wood. Just how many of those wooden eggs were pitched back on to the White House lawn.

I'd like the wooden egg much better without the president's signature. :)

How about a wooden egg with Dan Reagan's signature? ;)

Knowing Scanlon, it would have his signature, his picture, his life story, his kids pictures, a picture of his house and a picture of his dog!

(from anonymous number 2)

Oops... that should be Regan. Sorry for the misspelling, Dan.

Keep up the political commentary and you will end up like Imus.
