Once, nearly a hundred years ago now, I was a teenager. Hard to believe, I know. But absolutely true. For me, those years are a dim and not entirely pleasant memory. Consequently, I understand the teenagers of 2007 not at all. Even as the father of one. My son may as well be from another planet.

Luckily for you, should you happen to be or own one of these mysterious creatures, we have people here at Irish Fest HQ who aren't so far removed from those formative years. And those fine people are working on some ideas for this year's Kansas City Irish Fest to accommodate and entertain that particular breed of human.

It's all part of our goal to be a festival the whole family can enjoy. Even the members we don't understand.
