Cranky Staff Heard From

Site Host #1 writes:
You "trust that we’re all busy writing
A Limerick we’ll find exiting"?
Well I won’t begin
Cause you said I can’t win
So I’ll see if the fish are a ‘biting.

I respond:

I'm sorry your feelings are hurt
But afraid that I must reassert
There's no good way to spin it
You staffers can't win it
Plus, you already own a Staff shirt.

By the way...Irish Fest volunteers who are not, like my esteemed colleague Site Host #1, committee bosses or directors, are eligible.

Get to poeming!

I'm afraid I must get cracking,
for my limericks they are lacking
To win I must vie
before time goes by
and soon, my bags I'll be packing.

Err...how many days to KCIF? :)

Only 135!

I know I don't have to admit
when it come time to submit
there is no reason to shed tears
I would rather have several beers
when it comes to a poem I could give a CARE.

Hey, wait a minute. "Care" doesn't rhyme with...oh, never mind. I get it.
