The local Kansas City Star carried a profile of your favorite Irish Fest today in their "Nonprofit Profile" column in the business pages. I was interviewed for the story a couple of weeks ago as a matter of fact, but they must have misplaced the notes they took. Too bad, too because I had all kinds of interesting stuff to say. It would have been Pulitzer material. They also sent a photographer down to shoot pictures of us building our St. Patrick's Day Parade float, but I guess they decided that it would be better to run a picture of some cute kids at last year's Fest instead. That's probably for the best.
Anyway, they do have some quotes by Keli O'Neill Wenzel, our executive director and she does okay, I guess. I think my quotes were probably a lot better, but like I said they probably misplaced them or couldn't remember how to spell my name or something. Ooh, or maybe they're saving all my stuff for another, bigger article later. I bet that's it.

Your expectation of the Star is obviously too high.
