Ed Said #4

Sit down and shut up. Prez in the house. The bully pulpit is yours, Ed:

"The Super Bowl is over and the sounds of Bears fans weeping have subsided. Now it is time for the next major holiday--St. Patrick's Day. The Kansas City Irish Festival is planning a float in the parade this year. Construction will begin this Saturday and will no doubt continue every Saturday till the day. We will be building our float side by side with our good friends of the Celtic Fringe. We hope their prize winning record will rub off on our crew, if nothing else the extra bodies in the frozen warehouse will help keep each other warm. In addition to float building there are many great bands coming to the area and Danny is doing a fantastic job of keeping us up to date on who's playing where. It is time to move this cold weather and ice out of Kansas City, bring on the warm weather and start dreaming of warm days and nights at Crown Center. I can see it now a sea of people in front of the Terrace Stage, Boulevard Stout in my hand and Different Drums on stage pounding out "I'm a Northern Man". I feel better already my toes have thawed, I've got Different Drums playing on my computer and I'm ready for Irish Fest 2007. Hell, I've been ready since mid September 2006."
