That Time Of The Week

Well here it is Friday. You know what that means. It means that sometimes on Fridays I let you know the name of another performer who has signed on for Kansas City Irish Fest number 5.

So today, ladies and gentleman I'm thrilled and delighted to announce that one our real break-out artists from 2006, one of my absolute favorite performers in the world will be joining us again in 2007.

John Spillane.

Here's the thing about John Spillane's shows at Irish Fest last year: when he was on stage, all the other musicians came out to watch. To me, that speaks volumes about him as a performer. If you didn't see him last year, for the love of God correct that egregious error in 2007. He is a true original and one of the best things to come out of Ireland since whisky.
