Film Clips Change
A small change to my earlier report about Fuchsia man Máirtín de Cógaín and his charity shearing coming up on Valentine's Day. The event will now be a fund raiser in honor of Jennifer Ireland, a local woman who has been fighting a long and courageous battle with cancer. You can read all about Jennifer, her family and her fight here. And after you do, I hope you'll find time on your Valentine's Day to stop by Eddie Delahunt's Cafe & (I'll have times and details to you soon)and contribute to what I'm sure you'll agree is a very good cause.

As someone who knows and loves Jennifer and her family deeply, you have chosen such worthy family. You have no idea how this could possible help Chris and the girls future. I am so proud to call them my friends and once you meet them all you will know exactly what I am talking about. The blog really says it all but the depths of the love for them reaches so far and wide. My family will be there.
The other day Chris got 13,000 hits to the blog. If even half of those people showed up for this fundraiser why I think Mairtin will run out of hair. :) He's a good man to do this for the Ireland family.
Okay, wait a minute. I thought we were the ones cutting Mairtin's hair. oh well, even if half those people show up Eddie won't have the space. but ya'll come anyway!
I love the fundraising for Jennifer Ireland on Valentines Day -- leave it to the Irish to take over Valentine's Day as well! We love so strongly it probably always been one of our greatest holidays...
I'd like to suggest that all of you who can, pray the Mercy Chaplet given to us by St. Faustina for Jennifer Ireland.
