The Fringe At Harvesters Tomorrow

We choose this time, because it is a time, of all others, when Want is keenly felt, and Abundance rejoices.'"

The Celtic Fringe, one of Kansas City's many fine Irish organizations, has scheduled a block of time tomorrow with Harvesters to help at their Outreach Center. If you'd like to get to know the good people at the Fringe (which includes a plethora of Irish Festers) and do some good work for your community, you can help. You and the Fringe will be sorting and packing food and household supplies to go to families less fortunate. Bring your own canned food item to donate if you like, too. This a fun event and a nice deposit in the ol' karma bank. Remember, Santa's watching! Harvesters Community Food Bank

Please remember: This is a warehouse environment so dress very casually. Layered clothing in the winter works best. Open-toed shoes are NOT allowed. Keep jewelry to a minimum. Children under 6 are not permitted in warehouse for safety reasons. Enter through the Volunteer door on the east side of main entrance. Parking is available in front of the main entrance.
