Remember the beautiful redone fountain at the Irish Fest site in Crown Center? The one that wasn't green? Well, it's no ordinary fountain, friend. That fountain, like the one in front of Union Station can be choreographed to shoot its plumes into the air in time to music. If you went down to see the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas Tree, you saw it do just that, spectacularly.
Now you can see the show every day through the holidays. The shows, featuring holiday music recorded for Crown Center by members of the Kansas City Symphony, were designed by the team that created the famed water shows at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
See it weekdays at noon and on the hour from 5:00-10:00 PM or on the hour from 10:00 AM -10:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.
