Blame it on the holiday hustle and bustle, but I stupidly and carelessly neglected a couple very important recent birthdays in the Irish Fest family. Mea culpa. The old brain gets tired here at the end of the year.
Happy birthday December 24th to our Executive Director, the woman who keeps us all in line, Keli O'Neill Wenzel.
Happy birthday December 27th to one of our 2006 Rookies Of The Year, Raffle co-chair Maureen Deeds.
Happy birthday December 29th to former KCIF Volunteer coordinator Erin McCarthy.
Coincidentally, all three of these beautiful and talented young women turned 22 on their respective anniversaries.
And to everybody else who I may have overlooked this year, happy birthday, congratulations, my sympathies, cheers, slainte, rest in peace, get well soon and/or mazeltov, as is appropriate.
Oh, yeah...and Happy New Year.
