Purely in the interest of research and hard work, I'm heading off to the Milwaukee Irish Fest this weekend. Two items before I go:
The very last chance for your team of Rhodes Scholars to qualify for the Kansas City Irish Fest Pub Quiz finals, with that honkin' $500 grand prize, is this coming Monday, August 21st at JP's Wine Bar (1526 Walnut, KCMO) Team registration at 6:30, quiz at 7:00. If your team has already qualified, please have a representative there to collect your Irish Fest tickets and register for the final.
Second, in my absence, Site Host co-chair Barney Walsh will be blogging at you regarding some of the nuts and bolts of getting here and getting the most out of your Irish Fest weekend. Be nice to Barney, 'cause he's a prince of a guy.
