It's been a long year, brother. It's been entirely too long since Kansas City Irish Fest '05. And now, we have to wait another long day to kick off the party? Haven't we waited long enough?
We have. What do say we start early?
Tonight, at The Gaf, 7122 Wornall Road. The great and hilarious Seamus Kennedy, appearing on the Irish Fest stages Friday and Saturday will do a pre-fest show starting about 8:00. I also have it on good authority that a few of our other Irish Fest stars will be dropping in. No cover, no tickets, no worries. Thursday's the new Friday. It's Irish Fest weekend. Let's light the fuse.
