Fire, Working

Remember those snakes that you'd get on the 4th of July? I loved those things. I love fireworks in general. But they sure have changed since I was a whippersnapper. For example, we have fireworks at the Kansas City Irish Fest. But these are a far cry from the light-the-fuse-run-away-hope-it-works kind. These things are computerized. Not only are they computerized, they're choreographed. Not only are they choreographed, but this Friday night at Irish Fest they're choreographed to a really great song by 7 Nations called Last Call.

So do this. Go to our Entertainment page. Scroll way down to the bottom there, and you'll find some music samples. Listen to them all, then click on 7 Nations and listen to a sample of Last Call. Turn it up loud, close your eyes and imagine it's Friday night, you have a cold beverage in your hand and you're seeing some really cool fireworks. Dance around. Sing along. Raise that imaginary glass up and yell "Whoooo!".

Okay, now sit down and get back to work. The guy in the next cubicle thinks you're crazy.

Friday night, though, you'll fit right in.
