Here's something to put on your weekend to-do list: go to the Kansas City Irish Fest website. Click on that logo next to the big "buy tickets now" arrow. Save yourself some money and a wait in line at Irish Fest.
Seriously, this is pretty cool. You'll just print the ticket right there at home, we scan it at the gate and in you go. And saves you two bucks a pop. I'll tell you what, that's what I'd be doing right now, if I didn't get in to Irish Fest for free. Just one of the many perks of my exalted office. The others being...uh...I, uh...well, I have a box of left over volunteer shirts in my basement. So there's that.
