Yesterday at lunch I took a book out to the Irish Fest site here at Crown Center and read for awhile. The new fountain is on now, the one that shoots water up in various patterns. And there were about a half dozen kids sitting out there, on the bleachers still in place after the Hospital Hill run over the weekend, and they were cheering the fountain, like you hear kids cheering at fireworks shows: "Higher, higher! Do it again!" It was great.
If you haven't been down to Crown Center to see the remodeling and the cool new fountain, come down this weekend for Festa Italiana and check it out.
And give a cheer for the fountain.
