News Item

From Special Irish Fest Banking Correspondent Ronan Collins:

Up to 100 people queued for a Bank of Ireland cash machine in Belfast city centre on Monday night after it was found to be dispensing twice the amount requested. Police finally shut down the faulty ATM at around 9pm. A spokesman for BOI refused to say how much money had been lost but confirmed that customers would not be asked to pay back the extra money.

No doubt several of those lucky people then headed straight to their travel agents to book flights to Kansas City in September for Irish Fest, where we have plenty of conveniently located ATMs, by the way. All distributing exactly the right amount of cash.
