Irish Music, Great Cause

Here's an event I strongly encourage you to support. A fundraiser for Children's TLC, a private Kansas City pre-school for children with disabilities. Children's TLC is a nonprofit community resource located in Kansas City, Missouri, founded in 1947 with a goal to prepare preschool children with disabilities for formal schooling. Their early intervention program offers special education, occupational, physical and speech therapy services for children with special needs, infant-toddler to age eight. Proceeds from this event will be for scholarships and therapeutic and learning materials for the classrooms.

The one and only Eddie Delahunt provides entertainment. In addition to Eddie, as if he wasn't enough, the event features food and drink, a dessert bar, door prizes, and an auction of more than 200 items including one week at a Condominium in Vail, CO, a Kansas City Irish Fest Weekend including tickets and hotel room at the Westin Crown Center Hotel, Chiefs, Royals and golf memorabilia, many items for the home, artwork by local artists and TLC kids, and restaurant and salon gift certificates.

It will be a lot of fun for a great cause. The TLC fundraiser is Saturday, June 17th at St. Peter'’s McKay Hall, 64th & Holmes Kansas City Missouri (65th & Holmes, east to Charlotte, north to McKay Hall). Silent & Live Auction 7:00-10:00 PM, Great Irish Music by Eddie Delahunt 8:00-11:00 PM.
