For Irish Kids

The Irish Museum and Cultural Center in Union Station invites you and your wee ones to the inaugural event in what they're calling The Little People Celebration Series. Storyteller Rosie Cutrer will bring alive the heritage, tales, legends and music of Ireland to kids and their grown-ups. Kids are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite King or Queen, princess or fairy or, of course, leprechaun. The invitation doesn't specify, but I imagine that parents can dress up too, if you happen to have an old Brian Boru costume laying around. No, you can't borrow mine.

This is the first program in a series designed to entertain and educate children about Irish and Celtic culture and history. The series is funded by the McCullough Family Foundation.

Sunday, June 4th, 2:00 PM in the Zephyr Room, (theater level) Union Station, 30 W. Pershing Road, Kansas City, MO. The event is free. RSVPs to info@irishmuseum.org or 816-941-3085 are appreciated, but not necessary.
