Reunion Area Volunteers

Okay class, yesterday we learned all about why you should volunteer to work in the CD tents. Today we turn our gaze upward, to the rarefied air of the third level of the Irish Fest grounds, where sit the reunion tents. This is the place where families gather and businesses network.

Reunion Tents:

What you'll do: We have two tents up there, adjacent to the Sponsor Hospitality Area, so there will be two groups at a time up there. This level isn't open to the general public, so your job might include checking the passes of those coming up. Those lucky people up there get their own little beer tent, so you might be pouring beer and serving soft drinks. You might be serving snacks, decorating tables, cleaning up between groups. This job is all about hospitality. Here's the cool part: The people who are up there are really really happy. Hey, a private bar and private bathrooms will do that. So it's like throwing a party, 4 times a day (twice on Friday). Plus, you'll be working for The Regan Girls, co-chairs of the reunion area, and since I've spent most of my life working for them in one way or another, I can promise you without hesitation that it'll be an adventure. These women have as much fun up there as the guests do.

Who you are: Martha O'Stewart. Those people paid good money to be up there high above the crowd. We want to accommodate them with a good time in nice surroundings presented by smiling faces.

So if that sounds like you, click that button! Tomorrow, The Raffle!

I'm not sure that you can say you ever worked for us exactly......we did spend the better part of our youth trying to boss you around, but I digress......this is an awesome place to volunteer and have a great time. We had so much fun volunteering that now we co-chair!

Their stunning beauty makes up for their bossy tendencies.
